When is off-peak?
Off-peak runs Monday to Friday, 7am to 3pm. Peak is Monday to Friday 3pm to 11pm, plus all day Saturday and Sunday.

It is the easiest racket sport to pick up and the most fun you will have on a court. Rackets and balls are available to hire, and racket hire is free for members. Just turn up and play.

Go annual and the Official Padelsphere Jersey is yours free, an exclusive £45 jersey included with your membership. Look closely and you will find Northumberland woven through it: castles, coastline, the lighthouse, thistles. A new design every season. When a season ends, that jersey is never made again. Once it is gone, it is gone.

New to padel or weighing up membership? Everything you need to know, from how the game works to the fine print.
Padel is a racket sport, best described as a mix of tennis and squash. It's played on an enclosed court with glass walls you can use as part of the game, usually as doubles, though it can be played as singles too. It's easy to pick up, hard to master, and one of the fastest growing sports in the world.
None at all. Padel is one of the easiest racket sports to start, and most people are rallying within minutes. Beginners are genuinely welcome.
Padel is usually played as doubles, so four players, but you can also play singles with two. Got fewer than you need? Join a mix-in night and we'll pair you up with others.
Yes. Mix-in nights are built for exactly that. Turn up solo, meet other players and rotate partners through the session. It's the easiest way in.
Just trainers and comfortable sportswear. You don't need your own racket to start, rackets and balls can be hired at reception, and there's a pro shop if you want your own.

Yes, up to a set cut-off before your slot. Exact cancellation windows will be confirmed at launch and shown at the point of booking.
No. Rackets and balls are available to hire at reception, so you can just turn up and play. Racket hire is £3 for non-members and included free with every membership. The on-site pro shop stocks the best equipment when you're ready to buy your own.
Three tiers, Purple, Black and Gold. Each one adds bigger booking discounts, more sauna sessions and extra perks, and you can pay monthly or annually. Full details are in the Membership section.
Twelve months, paid up front. You get 12 months for the price of 10, plus a free Padelsphere jersey. After the first 14 days your membership runs for the full 12 months, that discount is why the commitment exists.
Rolling monthly with no minimum term. Cancel any time by giving one month's notice, your membership ends at the close of the following billing month and you keep full access until then. No refunds for partial months.
Annual: cancel within 14 days of joining and we'll refund you in full. After 14 days it runs the full 12 months.

The free Padelsphere jersey comes with annual membership. Jerseys are sent out after day 14, so if you cancel an annual plan before then, you won't receive one.
If you suffer a serious injury or long-term illness, send us medical evidence and we'll pause your membership. The months you miss are added on to the end.
Annual memberships renew automatically. We'll email you 30 days and 7 days before renewal, and you can cancel in one click.
Your membership discount applies to your own share of the court fee, not the whole booking. Every player on court needs their own membership to get their own discount.
A guest pass covers your guest's share of the court fee in full, while you pay your own share as normal. You need to be present and playing on the same court, your guest can't already hold a membership, and passes are allocated monthly (quarterly on Purple). They don't roll over and can't be transferred or sold.
When a friend you refer joins and renews into their second month, you both get a free off-peak game, your share of the court fee. They just need to name you when they join, and the reward is issued once their second month's payment has cleared.
Yes, for the member only, they can't be used on behalf of others or combined with other offers, and the pro shop discount excludes items already on sale.
Founding Member status is limited to the first 100 members to join Padelsphere, on any tier, and is allocated in the order memberships are taken out. Once the hundredth joins, that's it, forever. Claim your number.
You lock your rate for two years, provided your membership stays continuously active, plus a permanent, numbered place on the Founders Wall and a free first session (court fee only, used within three months of opening). Cancel and later rejoin and the locked rate is lost and can't be reinstated, though your place on the wall stays. Founders Wall photos are taken at the venue and are subject to your consent.
Founding Member status is personal to you and can't be transferred, sold or gifted. If you upgrade, your locked rate applies to the new tier at the rate in force when you became a Founding Member. Downgrading doesn't affect your status.
Yes. We have free on-site parking with around 30 spaces, plus plenty of free street parking right outside the venue.
Yes. We have full male and female changing rooms with showers, plus an accessible changing room.
Absolutely. The licensed bar and cafe are open to everyone, whether you're playing or just here for coffee, food or live sport on the big screens.
Yes. Premium infrared saunas are part of our wellness offering, and included with the right membership tier. See the Wellness section.
Sessions are 30 minutes, with a maximum of two people per sauna. Everything is booked in advance, online or at reception, walk-ins aren't available as the saunas need 30 to 45 minutes to heat. Towels aren't provided.
No. Slots are personal to you, so each person needs their own booking, and guests book and pay individually online or at reception.
Unlimited sauna access for Gold members is subject to availability, with sessions allocated on a first come, first served basis.
Both of our doubles courts record your matches automatically. You get shot counts, top speeds, highlights and progress over time, included free with every match.
Yes. We show live Sky Sports and TNT Sports on screens throughout the venue, the Premier League, Champions League and the biggest fixtures, plus F1, golf and all the popular sports. Open to everyone, whether you're playing or just here to watch.
Coaching is coming soon. Group sessions and one-to-ones will be announced ahead of opening, for everyone from first-timers to competitive players.
Yes. Junior sessions and family-friendly play will be part of the weekly programme. Padel is easy for all ages to enjoy together.
